Under 20 Sledge Hockey Team

Several of our players had the opportunity to tryout for the Under 20 Team last Saturday in Burlington. There were 22 players there with 8 spots and a goalie position up for grabs. Isaiah made it as the goalie. Other players from the Blazers who made the team are Anthony, Michael and Karl. Congratulations to all of you who tried out. Everyone did an awesome job and no one looked like they did not belong nor did anyone look superior. I'm just glad I did not have to pick the team cause I'm sure it wasn't easy.
Way to go and Good Luck at the World Cup in April

London Tournament

Well Congratulations to all who participated in the tournament. My voice is beginning to come back. Jake, Peter, Renee, Josh, Isaiah, Anthony and the rest of the junior team managed to clinch Silver defeating three teams they had not beaten in the last two years. Great Job!!!. The Intermediates with Steve, Michael, Ryan, Robert and Karl also played well in a very tough division. It was very entertaining and I'm looking forward to the next adventure in Hockey for the season.
